Saunders, who reentered the game with 15:31 left, would not score the rest of the game.
UMass cut it to one on another Gurley 3-pointer and took its first lead at 60-58 on a Harris layup with 8:22 left.
Gurley's third 3-pointer of the half put UMass up 69-65, before Clark answered with a conventional three-point play to make it a one-point game.

Harris answered with his fourth 3-pointer of the game to tie it for the fourth time in the half at 72-72.
UMass had possession with 10 seconds left in regulation, but Harris missed a layup and Carter's follow rolled off the rim.
